 RSVP for the LAN
So, if you're planning on coming to the LAN, please cast a vote so we know what kind of numbers to plan for. If you can bring any kind of networking equipment, cabling, networking expertise, baked goods, food, etc, please comment here and let us know. This LAN will be for folks 18 and up only. It's open to anyone. We're still working out the details, but plan on bringing $20 as a cover charge to contribute toward expenses for right now as we work out the details.
Once we get the hotel conference room reserved and such, we'll know more.

 Re: RSVP for the LAN
Hopefully if all goes to plan, anyone who comes will just have to bring their xbox.

It's my assumption that people will be providing their own power strips, displays/tvs, network cabling (we'll try to have a wireless router set up), hubs/switches, etc. We provide the space, you bring your gear. Stoked mentioned trying to get a buffet set up for us so we can have a huge party and we're still looking into those logistics. Ideally in this thread I'd like to discuss who's coming and who's bringing what. The other thread should be for all other discussion on the LAN.

RambO_X14 wrote: aw if i had the money i would totally fly there. boo for living in the pacific northwest Sorry to hear, but totally understandable. That's a freakin far way to go. lol. Reminds me of Miller and L4ber talking about driving here on motorcycles from California. I was going to fly to Texas one time to LAN with some friends, but sadly it didn't work out. Wish it had.

 Re: RSVP for the LAN
Hey guys. Do we have an exact date for this? Just asking because I'll need to request off work.
Thanks.
