Modern Warfare 2 Kill Streaks
For those who may or may not be following the video releases of this great game, probably the biggest change to the game was just released on IGN website. It shows the ability to customize your killstreak bonuses to up to 21 different attributes. The one shown in the game was access to a AC-130 gunship to “bring the rain” down on the opposing team. It also allows the player to control where the shots are fired using multiple rounds with the 40mm cannon. While the player calling in the gunship can not be killed, players will have the ability to take out the plane with Stinger missles. Whether this kills the player is unknown yet, however, the gunship can deploy flares in defense. Also not confirmed is the orginal killstreak bonuses such as UAV, airstrikes, and the chopper.
Another shocker at the end of the video is the ability to stick your opponents with grenades similar to the sticky in WaW. This was a very brief clip of it being done, however, offered a whopping 2300 EXP points for this challenge. Which may also give some insight of the change of EXP required to rank up and prestige up. I’m sure more videos will be posted, so keep tuned in.
I can’t wait for this game. Glad I finally got into playing Call of Duty.

It is my sincere HOPE that they got the multiplayer/matchmaking/lobby system DOWN for this game.
Firing from an AC-130 gunship – yeah, definitely the first thing I want to do in the game. Shame i’ll have to pwn 11 people in a row first. Oh well.
